Assist with the accurate, timeous and complete update of project reports, minutes, plans and presentations as guided and instructed by Project Managers;
Assist with the maintenance of the project knowledge base as guided by the Project Managers;
Assist with the creation of, and tracking progress on, project plans where required and as advised by the Project Manager
Assist with maintaining project/programme registers and logs – risk, action, issues, decision and dependency logs;
• Assist with administration / following up on travel & leave applications
• Maintain a travel schedule showing who is where and for what period
• Setting up meetings and workshops;
• Setting up meeting rooms with required equipment ;
• Compiling minutes and distribute to each participant of the meetings
Skills Required
• Matric/Grade 12 minimum;
• At least 2 years working experience as a Project Administrator;
• Experience of working within an office environment;
• Must have general computer literacy and the experience in the use of Windows applications in particular MS-Excel, MS-Word, MS Powerpoint and MS-Project;
• A certificate/diploma in project management would be an added advantage.

• High level of accuracy and motivation;
• High level of numeracy and familiarity with basic financial documents (e.g. budgets, timesheets);
• Good organisational skills and the initiative to work with a minimum of supervision;
• Flexibility to cope with several jobs simultaneously and to agreed deadlines;
• Effective written and verbal communication skills;
• The ability to take accurate minutes and records;
• Ability to develop and manage electronic and paper-based filing systems;
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team;
• Ability to deal with people at all levels;
• Ability to work under pressure;
• Willingness to work outside normal hours as required.
This role is aimed at providing project office support to the Project Managers. The role includes activities associated with maintaining key project documentation, including meeting minutes and liaising with mainly internal stakeholders.
